Oatmeal with Caramelized Bananas and Apricots step by step

  1. Bring milk to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in oats, reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 minutes or until oats are of desired texture.
  2. Meanwhile fry walnuts on dry pan/skillet on medium heat. When walnuts start to smell put them aside for a while.
  3. Put butter into pan over medium heat, mix with sugar and stir. Let sugar dissolve. Add bananas and apricots. Fry on medium heat for 1-5 minutes on each side to let fruits caramelize. Add walnuts and stir for 1-2 minutes.
