Ingredients of Amla Rice/ Gooseberry Rice

  1. Lets Go Prepare 1/2 cup of basmati rice.
  2. Lets Go Prepare 3 of amla.
  3. It's 1 tbsp of roasted peanuts.
  4. It's 1 tbsp of roasted gram.
  5. It's 1 tbsp of sesame oil.
  6. Lets Go Prepare 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
  7. It's 1 tbsp of urad dal.
  8. Lets Go Prepare 1-2 of finely chopped green chillies.
  9. It's leaves of Few curry.
  10. It's 2 of dry red chillies.
  11. What You needis 1/4 tsp of tumeric powder.

Amla Rice/ Gooseberry Rice step by step

  1. Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Pressure cook/ boiled for 2 whistles with salt. Keep aside..
  2. Wash and dry Amla. Grate them and keep aside..
  3. Dry roast peanuts in kadhai or Airfryer. Cool & discard it's skins..
  4. In pan add heat oil. Add mustard seeds as splutter add urad dal,roasted gram,saute till pinkish. Add curry leaves, chopped green chillies, dry red chillies pieces. Saute for 1 minute. Add tumeric powder,roasted peanuts,mix well..
  5. Add tumeric powder,roasted peanuts. Mix well. Add grated Alma. Mix well. Add cooked rice. Mix well and cook for 1 minute..
  6. Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Amla Rice/ Gooseberry Rice garnishing with chopped coriander leaves..
